First of all - HAPPY BIRTHDAY - and what a birthday it is!
Bryce mentioned to me about your diagnosis, but I don't think that I was aware of your total situation, and while I am so sorry you had to endure this, I am ecstatic to hear that you have come this far. You look great and am sure that you are very happy about the point in the journey that you have reached.
I just know that you will do well with the attitude and strength that you have managed during this process. I am so proud of you and wish you a quick recovery and all the best in life.
It sounds like you have a terrific guy by your side, so the road will be easier.
You running down down the aisles on that game show will forever be imprinted on my mind! I miss you lots, and you're still my bestest girl!
Thank you everyone for all the amazing support. We have created this blog to help keep you updated during her treatment and recovery. As you may know, on July 28, 2009, Cassie was diagnosed with an aggressive form of diffuse large b cell Lymphoma. She underwent many rounds of in-patient chemotherapy over the following months until she was declared cancer free and in remission on September 18, 2009. She then had a stem cell transplant on November 5, 2009 to help ensure that the cancer does not return. She is being treated at UCLA Medical Center. Her spirit is grateful, courageous and hopeful.
Cassie received her stem cell transplant on 11/5/09 and is well on the road to a full recovery.
